About the Role:
The Material Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing on-site inventory operations, ensuring all materials and parts are efficiently sourced, tracked, and delivered to support day-to-day site activities. This role is key to maintaining a smooth flow of materials, minimizing downtime, and enabling the maintenance and technical teams to operate effectively. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills with hands-on coordination experience in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Oversight: Manage on-site inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock and timely replenishment of AV parts and maintenance materials.
- Delivery Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate incoming shipments and ensure on-time delivery of required components.
- Transaction Management: Execute accurate part transactions and maintain real-time inventory records using internal systems
- Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with technicians and operations staff to anticipate material needs and guarantee part availability.
- Process Optimization: Monitor inventory performance and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, delayed deliveries, or stock errors in a timely and proactive manner.
- Documentation: Maintain well-organized records for inventory movements, delivery receipts, and transactions to support audits and compliance efforts.
Minimum requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in inventory management, materials coordination, or a related field—experience in the automotive or
- logistics industry is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and tracking skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and familiarity with ERP tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Resourceful and solution-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot material-related issues effectively.
